We are rewriting the traditional rules of work. Listening to our people and incorporating their desires into our culture to help us make Mambu THE place to work.

I can hardly believe I’m about to celebrate my six-month Mambuversary. What a ride!

Why was I drawn to Mambu? Because it’s always strived to be a world-class, forward-thinking employer, trailblazing new ways of doing traditional things. Things like our four-day work week in the summer have been commonplace in Mambu for years.

We firmly believe work is what you accomplish, not where you do it. All our employees are co-pilots in defining their work experience, which is why we’re doing a lot of listening. In late summer, 90% of our people told us how they wanted to shape their future hybrid work experience. These insights reminded us that after successfully navigating the pandemic, we want to provide more flexibility for our team leaders to support their people’s wishes for tailored work experiences.

So, what about the Mambu culture? The success of the last ten years shows we’re doing a lot right, but there’s no room for complacency. As we look to the future, we want to further fuel and accelerate our growth. To do this, we are launching a reimagined cultural map - built by our people, for our people, to share who we aspire to be and what we stand for in the world.

Eugene, our co-founder and CEO, makes it clear that our old ways of working will have to be reimagined - starting with leadership. In our book, every Mambuvian is a leader in the way they show up with each other. Beginning in the new year, we are further investing in every Mambuvian to give them access to the latest thinking on leadership. Plus, all our team leaders will play a crucial role in this new world by thinking of themselves as their teams’ servants, embracing new collaborative, emotionally and socially intelligent ways of working.

We are rewriting the traditional rules of work. Listening to our people and incorporating their desires into our revised culture will help us make Mambu the place to work. The possibilities are endless, making this an exciting time to be part of our journey that’s only just begun.
