Islamic banking: Access new Shari’ah-based funding capabilities

We are strengthening our Islamic Banking capabilities to help institutions meet demands for speed, scale and flexibility without compromising on ethical values. Our recent enhancements to Islamic funding and profit sharing allow institutions to:

  • Extend Islamic profit sharing to fixed deposits and savings plans
  • Link productive assets to income categories for accurate profit attribution
  • Categorise deposit products according to Shari’ah contract purposes
  • Manually trigger IPS calculations to align with internal processing cycles


These enhancements provide greater transparency, operational control, and compliance confidence.


Institutions can now design and manage any Shari’ah-based Islamic funding product with stronger governance, clearer reporting, and improved flexibility, all within the Mambu platform.

Data is one of the most valuable assets in financial services, but only if you can access and use it easily. That’s why we’ve taken a major step forward to help our customers harness the power of their core banking data with Mambu Insights and the release of the Mambu data lake.


The Mambu data lake is now available, providing a scalable foundation for analytics and reporting giving institutions a structured way to access their core data without heavy manual processes or complex pipelines.


With high-performance data delivery, institutions can capture near-real-time deltas for operational reporting or run high-volume batch extractions for deep analysis and monitoring. With seamless integrations into external BI tools such as Snowflake or Databricks, teams can move from raw transactions to dashboards, insights, and decision-ready reports in minutes, enabling faster reporting, stronger governance, and more confident decision-making.

Mambu’s Payments hub is now expanding to Asia and Latin America, bringing our API-first infrastructure to financial institutions in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and beyond.


By continuously broadening our connectivity to major payment rails worldwide, we enable financial providers to bridge the gap between established and emerging schemes through one unified platform. This expansion represents the next chapter in our journey, as we double down on building the global core banking and payments foundation that empowers fast-growing financial institutions to scale globally while remaining compliant and agile locally.

access to STEP2, TIPS & T2

The landscape of direct participation in European schemes is evolving. PIs and EMIs can now pursue direct participation in payment systems, a route previously limited to credit institutions. This new pathway reduces reliance on sponsor banks, giving institutions greater control over settlement and liquidity, while unlocking strategic opportunities for growth.


Mambu now offers direct connectivity to major European clearing and settlement systems:

  • STEP2, a pan-European ACH for SEPA Credit Transfers and Direct Debits
  • TIPS, the Eurosystem infrastructure for settling SEPA Instant Credit Transfers
  • Target2 (T2), the Eurosystem’s real-time gross settlement system for euro liquidity


Direct access to these systems provides clearer settlement visibility, stronger liquidity control, and a cost base that scales with payment volumes.


With direct participation, Payment Institutions (PIs) and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) can manage their own scheme membership, settlement flows, and operational processes. They can also serve customer segments that sponsor banks would otherwise limit, and scale without structural dependency. This supports better cost dynamics, faster time-to-market, and a structurally more resilient European payments architecture.


Automate the full lifecycle, from deposits to payments

We are streamlining the integration between our Deposits and Payments products, to create a unified flow across the full deposit lifecycle.


With pre-built workflows and tighter orchestration between core and payments, institutions can now automatically trigger and execute funding, payout, and internal movement events while keeping balances and transaction states aligned in real time.


This reduces manual intervention, improves reconciliation consistency, and ensures that deposit and payment data move together across systems.


By removing operational gaps between core and payments, institutions can now innovate and scale their deposit products with greater confidence and control.
