About the customer
Triple-A is a global payment institution headquartered in Singapore, helping businesses pay and get paid in stablecoins and local currencies without having to manage the underlying conversion, custody and compliance processes themselves.

Founded in 2020, Triple-A supports more than 1,000 enterprise customers across over 120 countries. Its customers include companies such as Razer, Farfetch, Alternative Airlines and Grab. Through its stablecoin payment infrastructure, Triple-A helps businesses reach over 700 million digital currency owners.

Triple-A operates through a regulated international footprint, with licences and registrations across key markets including Singapore, Europe, the United States and Canada.
The challenge

SEPA connectivity without replacing the ledger
Stablecoin payments may move through digital-asset rails, but businesses still need reliable ways to collect, settle and pay out funds in local currencies.

For Triple-A’s European operations, this required access to SEPA Credit Transfer and SEPA Instant Credit Transfer. Its previous provider could not offer the required connectivity independently from its ledger module.

Adopting that model would have required Triple-A to change core parts of its existing setup simply to gain access to the payment rails it needed.
Triple-A wanted a more flexible approach. The company was looking for an API-first provider that could connect its infrastructure to the SEPA network while allowing it to continue managing its own internal ledger and IBAN structures. Instant payments introduced an additional technical requirement. Triple-A needed infrastructure capable of handling time-sensitive payment notifications and responses within the SEPA Instant processing window.

Under the current scheme rules, funds must be made available in less than ten seconds. Beyond the product itself, Triple-A wanted a responsive implementation partner. Previous experiences with slow support cycles had shown the company that API quality alone would not be enough.
The solution

API-first SEPA connectivity with Mambu Payments
The team at Mambu had previous experience working with BPCE Payment Services, which gave Triple-A confidence in the integration approach and helped reduce technical uncertainty from the start.

In the summer of 2025, Triple-A kicked off the project with Mambu’s Universal Gateway to connect its existing infrastructure to BPCE Payment Services.

Through an API-first integration layer, Mambu Payments handled the technical translation between Triple-A’s internal payment instructions and the ISO 20022 messages required by the SEPA network. This supports the collection and payout flows needed for SEPA Credit Transfer and SEPA Instant Credit Transfer.

The ledger-agnostic architecture allowed Triple-A to retain control of its internal ledger and IBAN structures. Rather than adapting its systems to match a provider’s core platform, Triple-A could add Mambu Payments around its existing infrastructure.

Mambu also gave Triple-A operational visibility through its dashboard, without requiring the company to develop a separate interface internally.
“Mambu’s ledger-agnostic approach meant we could keep managing our own internal ledger and IBAN structures while relying on their API for the SEPA connectivity and payment flow translation.”

- Kevin Ziemianski, Engineering Manager, Triple-A

The implementation

From integration to go-live in under a month
The delivery required close coordination between Triple-A, Mambu and BPCE Payment Services. Mambu managed the connectivity and payment-message translation required to communicate with the bank and SEPA network. This allowed Triple-A’s internal teams to focus on their own systems and operational setup instead of building and maintaining the bank integration themselves.

Because the integration was API-first and designed to work independently from the ledger, Triple-A did not need to restructure its existing architecture. The dashboard also provided the operational team with the visibility needed to monitor payment activity without additional custom development.
To ensure a seamless launch, Mambu deployed dedicated payments experts who provided strategic guidance through weekly check-ins.

Embedding deep domain knowledge into the implementation transformed a highly complex, multi-party integration into a streamlined process, enabling the teams to move quickly and confidently toward deployment.

As a result, Triple-A completed the implementation in less than a month from end to end on Mambu.
“We needed a partner that could help us access SEPA Instant quickly, while fitting around our existing infrastructure. Mambu gave us that flexibility and helped us go live in under a month.”

- Sreya Dasgupta, Product Manager, Triple-A

The result

Faster SEPA Instant launch with more control
Triple-A launched SEPA Instant collections in less than a month, giving the company a faster route to the euro payment capabilities required for its European operations.

By using Mambu Payments to connect with BPCE Payment Services, Triple-A avoided the work involved in building and maintaining its own direct bank integration. Mambu’s ISO 20022 abstraction also reduced the internal complexity of managing the payment messages and workflows required by the SEPA network.

Triple-A retained control of its existing ledger and IBAN setup while gaining access to broader SEPA functionality. Compared with its previous solution, the new infrastructure gives the company greater flexibility in how it manages euro transfers and more room to support increasing payment volumes as the business grows.

The implementation also established a model Triple-A can build on. The company is now exploring additional functionality and sees Mambu as a partner for further payment integrations.
Build payment connectivity faster with Mambu

For financial institutions that want to add new payment capabilities without building and maintaining every bank or scheme integration themselves, Mambu provides an API-first route to faster launch and lower operational complexity.
